DATE: Georgian, c.1830

A gorgeous Georgian diamond solitaire ring dating from the early 19th Century, circa 1830. The oval stone is set east/west along the band, and rests in a beautiful foiled silver setting. The band, modelled in 15 karat gold, features intricate engraving around the sides, and scroll motifs at the shoulders where they meet the head.
